In Leeds, we know it’s Christmas when, in November, the German Christmas market turns up. I walk past it every day on my way to college and consider it tradition to buy a crepe from there every year. Plus nothing makes you feel more like a kid again than getting on that magical carousel *sighs* i just love it!
It’s a proper traditional German market and there’s no more perfect a place to buy a funky new bauble for your Christmas tree back home or a quirky little stocking filler for someone you love. I would recommend going at night because the lights really bring the place alive, i mean take a look for yourselves:
There’s rows of knickknack stalls, and proper German grub as well as oodles of friendly people for you to bump into as you bob around. Obviously it can be a bit pricey but as a wintery treat you can’t really go wrong.
Just a little post from me today but hopefully if you’ve never seen this place then you’ve enjoyed hearing about it and if you have been then please let me know what your favourite stalls are in the comments. Also let me know if you love this place as much as i do!
Thanks always – Em x
