Okay guys so I’m sticking to my one true love which is clothing and bringing you a little Spring Looks series which will consist of some different outfits so to hopefully provide you with some inspiration and just so you can see how I would style things and what pieces I am living it at the moment. If this series goes down well then I may well do a Summer One so let me know in the comments if that would be something you’ want to see.
On with Look Number One!
Okay so first up we have these super comfy and super flattering jeans from Topshop. They’re cut way above the ankle making them perfect for spring with wide legs so you’re comfy and your legs can breathe on those randomly over – warm spring days we rarely have. I find Topshop denim to be fairly long lasting good quality and reliable so I often head in their direction when needing anew pair of jeans. I’ve styled these with a beautifully detailed belt from asos which has a western style buckle with really cute, pretty little stars and studs on it to draw the eye. I really really love the fact it isn’t just a plain black belt because the detail is so subtle it’ll work with almost any outfit and it’s something a bit different which I tend to go for.
The top I chose because it is so perfect for spring and summer. It’s a beautiful soft material, cropped just above the belly button with a twisted front which I just think is so flattering. The v-neck and the fluted wide sleeves of this top make it so it can be dressed down for the day or dressed up with a leather skirt and some heels for the night. It also isn’t super tight fitting so you don’t feel constrained in any way which I love. This piece was from New Look and I wear a size 8.
Accessories wise, I take this little red bag with me everywhere, it was £8 from Primark which was a steal and is a dupe of the Chloe Faye back pack – I will dive on a good dupe. It also comes in black and is fairly well made with two zips down the sides which can be unzipped to make the bag bigger. As a day trip bag I also think it’s really handy because its on your back out of the way.
The shoes I chose for this ensemble are these white platform trainers which I got for £20 from Asos. I think they go with absolutely everything and remind me of the new superga platforms which are a tad out my price range so I was happy to settle for these dupes. They’re super comfy but do get mucky really quickly so investing in some shoe whitener might be a good idea with these.
And that’s it from me today my lovelies, see you next week for another Spring look!
Thanks always, Em x
